Students discussed these points today during the student council meeting:
- Students want a yearbook club for the school. They suggested every grade would have a student responsible for taking pictures, writing notes..etc.
- The students say that there is a problem with the cooking club and they need a solution for it.
- Students complained that the March trips are too short and they would like to extend the time like instead of going back at 3 we could go back at 6.
- They say they would like to have a Facebook group so it would be easier to communicate.
- Mrs. Heba told the students two things:
- She said that the student council should have its own newsletter.
- That the school will soon have a Culture Day full of games, cooking, dressing up and lots more..
Warning: Students who do not attend the meeting will not attend again. Other students will come instead.
It's very interesting to see how the students' demands can be met. I have a couple of questions for clarification please.
ReplyDelete1) What is the problem with the cooking club? It has to be more specific in order to find a solution.
2) Is the newsletter going to be an e-copy? I think it should for the sake of saving trees and the environment at least.
Congratulations on your new blog. I wish students would really get engaged and take an active part in the discussions and suggestions. Great idea; Good luck!
